Cannabis and the Rest: A Comparison

The criminalization of cannabis translates into many different bad things: it means depriving farmers of an easy source of income, preventing humanity from obtaining paper without tearing down entire forests, causing the impoverishment of the soil and increasing the average costs of our clothes. And this is not all. The process that turned this wonderful plant into an illegal product brought us also a series of new drugs.

In fact, in order to bypass marijuana, companies have designed different sorts of chemical potions. These drugs do the same things cannabis does, but they come with a tremendous amount of side effects.

In Sweden, for instance, people produce the so-called Spice, synthetic marijuana that has already caused hundreds of deaths by overdose in a single year. Basically, Spice, of which there are already more than 100 varieties, it’s created mimicking the chemical structure of our beloved cannabis. However, while marijuana is not toxic and doesn’t cause overdoses, Spice is actually toxic and extremely dangerous. As a result, Sweden has already sent a request to Brussels to include Spice in the list of the illegal drugs. Crazily enough, it is currently marketed as incense, something you can buy to make you room smells better but that you cannot smoke. Of course, this is just a trick to avoid criminal charges and promote the production, sale and consumption of a horrible product.

Experts and amateurs have also been discussing for years about the consequences of using substances other than cannabis for recreational purposes. Alcohol, for instance, is responsible for many deaths, diseases, accidents and much more.

Besides, alcohol can cause overdoses and intoxications, and you don’t even have to drink that much. Marijuana does not cause overdoses, and in all the places where it is legal there has been no increase in the number of accidents. Plus, studies have shown that legalization does not increase the consumption.

And, of course, you can’t talk about cannabis without mentioning cigarettes and synthetic drugs. Cigarettes contain an impressive amount of potentially lethal chemicals. As for synthetic drugs, such as methamphetamine, we know for sure that many more people use them where marihuana is prohibited.

It’s truly a no-brainer: choose marijuana, good quality marijuana (here is the website you need http://greenhouseseeds.nl/. At the end of the day, if you could choose between something that’s good for your body and soul, and something that destroys you, what would you do?
