  •  Acute side effects

The association between cannabis usage and mental health has not been completely understood by most people. On the contrary, several researches have suggested marijuana treating mood disorders in an effective manner. Cannabis has been known to effect cognition and memory. It would also be assisting several patients suffering from PTSD.

Several studies have been suggesting cannabis usage contributing to aggravate existing mental health issues. Marijuana usage could make schizophrenia along with other available psychoses worse. A majority of cannabis users have been known to experience paranoia and acute anxiety.

Several studies have concluded non-psychoactive cannabinoid CBD offering significant neuro-protective effects of cannabis usage. It would protect nerve cells from getting damaged and deteriorating.
