Those people who aren’t governed by the cannabis cultivation laws in Spain need to know that cannabis use in this country is absolutely legal. However, cannabis cultivation is even penalized legally.
If you are wondering how this is possible, there are several economic interests behind this that do not want the crop cultivation to be legal as the drug leaves more money. But, consumer cannabis groups, social clubs, associations, and the general public are opening up their eyes to this great injustice.
There are several cases where thousands of farmers arrested by police just for growing cannabis plants for personal consumption plead not to be guilty to judges. Obviously, cultivating marijuana for drug trafficking is illegal. However, if marijuana use is legal, then why not marijuana cultivation? Why does the government want to force people to go to the black market?
It’s time to change things! It’s time to look at the world that’s legalizing cannabis cultivation and follow it. The government can earn billions of euros as taxes for marijuana cultivation and at the same time this can also reduce the problem of unemployment in Spain in just one or two years if cultivation is legalized.
As of now, in various countries where cannabis cultivation is legal, it’s very useful for processing of textiles. The derivatives of hemp are possibly the best raw materials for developing rope, fabric, paper, etc. Several car makers also use parts made of hemp fiber.
The solution for cannabis users for the good of the country’s economy and its eradication of unemployment is so evident that it’s surprising to see how the government can transform. However, if a Galos community was resistant to the Roman Empire, it has taken the first big step towards full legality in Spain’s autonomous community of Catalonia.
Other communities like Navarra and the Basque Country took the first step for years by creating and legalizing cannabis clubs.
Now is the time to take the big leap- the moment for Catalonia to completely legalize the possession, cultivation, transportation, and legitimate rights of cannabis users. A few signatures are needed for this and so it’s time for work mates to get down to work and take the big leap.
To make things little easier, was born LA ROSA VERDA.
This is a popular legislative initiative for regulating cannabis drug consumer associations. It is the first European law proposition that introduces the cultivation, distribution and transportation of cannabis in addition to ensuring quality control.
Why?
We are at a historic moment now. The most uncertain elections are being conducted from the very beginning of democracy and the votes of everyone are more important than ever. The parliament started a regulatory process that has laid the foundation to develop Rosa Verda, a proposal to solve problems of consumers, partners, and clubs.
With daily interventions, seizures, closures, and arrests happening, the social cannabis club model is at risk. Today’s social cannabis clubs are a network capable of facing the challenge of collecting sufficient signatures to help the Parliament to decisively address the citizens’ needs.
What?
The Civil Observatory Drug Policy drafted a legislative proposal, which was presented by a promoting commission and accepted by the Parliament of Catalonia. The aim is to get the highest number of signatures ever in history and show that the society strongly supports cannabis legalization. They are forming a team capable of achieving this goal.
The campaign for municipal elections will start on May 8 and the campaign for the plebiscitary elections to Parliament of Catalonia will start on September 11.
Verda Rosa will be there for parties to hear the voice and decide the votes.
Who Promotes?
La Rosa Verda is an initiative taken by all those who participate as notaries and offer their support by signing the proposal!
