Snippets of marijuana speak the truths of controversy

Ohio votes in November to decide the legality of marijuana in the state and we know what would probably be the result. Does any state not wish for the marijuana treatment for its patients? Yet the American Federal Government still classifies marijuana as a Schedule 1 drug which means that it is dangerous, liable to be misused and has no medical use. DEA had rather change their stance sometime soon with all that is now revealed of marijuana and its curative and non-destructive properties. It is as if an angel has been termed a devil so long.

Why do we not find any marijuana advertisements on national media?

With all that publicity and high profit industry status that marijuana enjoys, one would expect a lot of media coverage. Yet we know exactly why it is still hush hush. A television program was prepared for the Oregon Medical Marijuana Business Conference but was cancelled at the last moment for unclear reasons. A kind of censorship perhaps! Maryland is doing well with the plans to open up over a hundred cannabis dispensaries besides fifteen cannabis growing centers and processing plants too.

What is happening in Hawaii?

The first ever business expo for marijuana has been held and the state is well on the way to growing medical marijuana. Perhaps by November 2016, eight medical dispensaries will start distributing marijuana treatments.

Las Vegas news is even better!

  • Medical marijuana costs $17 to $20 a gram, rather high price to pay but this is America!
  • The first medical marijuana dispensary in Clark County Las Vegas just opened its doors, patients had been waiting too long
  • Patients included cancer survivors and those with sheer pain resulting from several problems
  • Nevada patients have been allowed to grow marijuana since 2001
  • Changing times is indicated by 53% of Americans opting for legal marijuana today

The rush for weed continues into 2016

Many states that wish to free marijuana from legal clutches will include it in next year’s election agenda. Just now there exists no similarity between states and the magic wand of the Federal Government could change all that controversy just like the Supreme Court that Okayed gay marriage. Patience has its limits and every parent now wishes for the blessings of marijuana upon suffering children and elders too. Why should growers and patients, recreationists too, remain in suspense about whether they can be arrested? Can they grow the stuff or possess three or twelve ounces? The man on the street does not know the legal processes. Yet the weed does cure.
