Many bouquets shower the crowning glory upon nature’s blessing
Across the shared border, America and Canada could learn a lot about marijuana for the common interest and the welfare of maybe thousands of patients in each state.
Pharmacies in Canada now want to distribute medical marijuana
Canadian pharmacists wish to be involved in the distribution of medical marijuana after disagreeing earlier. Understandably, they would do the job better with their knowledge of medications, and keeping in mind the welfare of patients. The reality of the situation is that licensed producers are already servicing 50,000 patients across the country with no complaints. They have been at it for three years and invested massive manpower and training besides finance.
New Brunswick and the wise investment move
While investing $1 million on medical marijuana, a hundred new jobs would also be born. The company OrganiGram is the only licensed producer in Atlantic Canada. Everybody knows that a massive investment opportunity will arise since marijuana is big business on the global scenario. It is only a matter of time. By investing in production, research, chemists and technicians, a great new world opens up for medical marijuana at present and recreational cannabis hopefully in the near future. Public safety is a primary concern and consultations with the cannabis rich America has cleared up some bottlenecks.
Judge’s ruling improves chances of legalization in Maine
Why should Maine residents not vote on the question to legalize recreational marijuana? Now a judge has overruled what a Secretary of State did when he disqualified half of the 99,000 signatures that agreed with marijuana activists and signed the petition. The reason cited by the Secretary was the mismatch between the forms signed and official records. A group has appealed against the decision invalidating almost 50,000 signatures and thus weakening the pro-marijuana argument. If that petition had passed, adults of at least 21 years of age would have the right to possess marijuana subject to taxes though consumption in public is disallowed.
Similar drives are underway in about six other American states that include California and Massachusetts. Vermont is getting close to legalizing recreational marijuana too. Maine Governor is opposed to such legalization since he believes that marijuana leads to hard drugs. Maine legalized medical marijuana way back in 1999. Ohio said ‘no’ to recreational marijuana in 2015.
Get to know CB2
In ongoing marijuana research, a cannabinoid receptor named CB2 is found to help with sperm creation. Male infertility could thus be treated while interference in fertility would also be possible. A new hope emerges for global infertile couples that comprise 15% and male infertility causes maybe 20% of those inadequacies. Research on rats was carried out to get at the CB2 secrets.
