Modern research increases demand to legalize marijuana
The uses of marijuana in the medical grounds are increasing rapidly. In the recent times, there are applications of marijuana in diseases like neuro-disorders like schizophrenia and Alzheimer’s’. The drug is now proved to be effective in treatment of the acute MI.
Though marijuana cannot heal a patient suffering from MI yet the recent researches have proved that the application of marijuana in the post stages may bring effective improvements in several components of the medical practice.
Recently this was shown in a poster format in the American College of Cardiology (ACC). The scientific sessions of this college pondered over the matter a lot and they have brought forward a report which shows the analysis of one million patients who are hospitalized. It is evident that this is quite a bulky procedure. About 3800 reported that they had used marijuana in recent times.
This research delved deep further in the considerations regarding age, sex, caste, creed and all and the inferences found no connection between death, cardiac arrest, shock, mechanical ventilation, or intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) and the use and application of marijuana before or after the operation.
There was a tough tussle between the people who used marijuana and the ones who did not. The ratio was 0.83 for the group which took marijuana to those who did not take.
This fact clearly states that the use of marijuana decreases the mortality rate among the commons of the day. The person who uses marijuana is safer than the ones who are not using the same. There are some diseases which cannot be cured without the use of marijuana.
In spite of these recent events and revelations, the federal government cannot decide on what is to be done. They are still pondering a lot on this subject and that is arising the public discontent largely. People are thinking that the government is not thinking of the welfare of the commoners. Thus, at this crucial period of voting and decision, the marijuana issue can be a big problem. The university students can be said to nail the coffin of the federal government by publishing this report at this time of the system.
The use of recreational and medical marijuana is normal in many states. Countries like Israel are earning a lot through it. The recent studies of the university has incremented the problem more. People are thinking that final legalization can solve many problems.
