The media always caters to cannabis news

The more we hear, the greater is the realization that the world is making a big fuss with marijuana with large stakes and hungry business. The public voice could make the difference, but they need to be informed appropriately of positive marijuana research findings.

A problem with pesticides in Colorado

Unless you are an agriculture expert, you may not have heard of avermectin and myclobutanil. Cannabis regulators in weed blessed Colorado have been recalling both medical and recreational batches after they tested positive for these substances that apparently does not tally with their guidelines. Banned pesticides have to go. Users who may have laid hands on the recalled products are required to return the stuff for appropriate disposal. To put the records straight, Denver promulgated twenty such recalls effective from September2015. The affected businesses are considering a lawsuit and blaming testing procedures. Who really knows the truth in the shady world of big business?

The Oregon Marijuana Business Conference

Keeping track of cannabis laws can be tricky since they constantly change in Oregon. So it has been in the 2016 legislative session. The authorities have commenced making the rules that would affect growers, suppliers and consumers. The upcoming OMBC would set things right hopefully in the face of the large businesses at stake and nobody needs to be reminded of the wonders of medical cannabis that has brought new hope to a generation of sufferers. The authorities seem to be bent on imposing excessive restrictions upon cannabis based edibles. Voting would help understand whether the people are in favor of marijuana trade. Portland wishes to impose higher licensing fees. Micro growing licenses are welcome and would enable the smaller growers to make a place for themselves instead of being swallowed up by the big fish.

The Unplanned America trio!

The documentary series called Unplanned America on Netflix shows the threesome investigating subcultures in America and it is great fun. One of the adventures is related to the so called ‘cannabis shaman’ that they visited in Colorado. They ate plenty of cannabis and participated in trance activities. It must have been very intense because one of them thought they would die. They did experience the weird with feelings of paranoia and the edibles experience turned out to be very strong. Well, as we all know, getting high on marijuana or on other drugs would have its ups and downs, all a part of the game we call ‘life.’
