What are people saying about the wonder weed?

America, Canada and Europe are all in love with the wonder weed for many reasons including the medical factor. Slowly, changes of law in favor of legalization would come and end the murky business of drug smuggling.

Pueblo County and the marijuana stakes

In the face of opposition, Pueblo County has a positive attitude towards marijuana politics. The concerned authorities have been praising the wholesome weed for engendering jobs and earning big dollars to help local economies. Let figures talk. Of the Colorado $1 billion and more of marijuana incomes in 2015, $20 million came from Pueblo County. A recent petition would like to ban the marijuana business and solicits voter appraisal in November. The petition wishes to stop the grant of licenses to new marijuana businesses by November 8 and to halt such businesses in Pueblo County by November 2017. The petitioners do not want to stop the industrial hemp business though. The City of Pueblo banned marijuana trade, but continues with cultivation, medical dispensaries and cannabis based products. The Pueblo County public approved these in 2012 with 55 % voting in favor.

Cannabis makes it big in the European Union drug trade

With marijuana dominating the media limelight in recent times, people have realized its intrinsic merits. Everybody knows how life threatening and habit forming the hard drugs like heroin and cocaine can be. It is no wonder that cannabis is preferred more than the other killers. The EU folks spend a mighty 24 billion euro each year on illegal drugs. Cannabis is illegal too. According to recent estimates, cannabis consumption is highest at 38% with heroin at 28% and cocaine at 24%.
Cannabis seeds for free in Canada

In Canada, somebody raised his voice and encouraged people to plant their own seeds. Each person gets a free consignment of a hundred cannabis seeds. What is the purpose of such an activity? Legalization of cannabis of course and it makes a lot of sense now that research has proved the remarkable curative properties of marijuana. Legislation and changes in laws take ages to come into effect. If the public supports such a policy, things would work out fine as in many American states that have realized the truth for quite a while. The argument of this activist is that you should be able to grow your own cannabis. If that is possible, nothing else stands in the way. Yet the authorities should allow it.
