Jesus was undoubtedly a cannabis user and one of the earliest proponents of this miracle drug’s medicinal properties. As per a recent research of spiritual texts, Jesus and his apostles (disciples) are known to have used cannabis for carrying out miraculous healing.

The anointing oil that they used for healing had an ingredient known as kaneh-bosem, which is known to have had cannabis extract. So, they were rather using a cannabis-based oil for anointing people and helped to cure them from the crippling diseases. During those times, cannabis was extensively used for healing the sick and there are archaeological records as well to support this fact.

This report doesn’t rule out the possibility of the blind faith people had in Jesus Christ.

The anointing oil, which is referred to in the original Hebrew edition in Exodus, had more than 6 pounds of kaneh-bosem extracted into around 6 quarts of olive oil blended with many other perfumed herbs. The ill people were literally drenched with this holy anointing oil. While most of the modern people prefer eating or smoking pot, it can also get absorbed via skin if its active ingredients are extracted into an oil-based carrier.

A study indicates that the cannabis drug may have had a major role in the healing miracles of Jesus and his disciples, especially in people with illnesses such as epilepsy. Epilepsy was a disease that was accredited to demonic possession in those days and it was considered to be miraculous healing or exorcism to heal someone with such diseases even with the help of some herbs.

Interesting, extracts made using cannabis have been proved to be highly effective at treating not only epilepsy, but also many other illnesses that Jesus cured people of like eye problems, menstrual problems, and skin diseases, as mentioned in the new testament of Bible.

On the whole, the study indicated that it was unchristian to discriminate cannabis users. If hemp was a key ingredient of the ancient holy anointing oil, as indicated by history, and receiving this extract is what helped Jesus be the Christ, then it could be regarded to be anti-Christ to persecute people who use this miraculous drug. Though, Christian groups based in the United States have paid no heed to such reports and have rejected those claims, insisting that they are lame.

Many critics, who are obviously strong believers of Jesus Christ, said – “As many of us know firsthand, Jesus often becomes the final hope for the pharmacologically impaired.”
