Among all the candidates ensuring about legalizing marijuana across the country was none other than Donald Trump. Many of them may not accept this statement, but it’s true. Trump seriously believes that most of the jobs have been taken away by the two countries Mexico and China, including the title “Drug Czar” also.
Trump’s only rule to the drug dealers is that if at all drug lords are to be generated they have to make it only in the USA. Why not? He believed that their drug dealers outsourced to other places and countries, which are too far. Trump wants to restrict or keep them within his border, which means he wants to save weed for his country. Apart from this, Trump also said that they are losing a war on drugs, so whatever the reason behind this is, the only scope to win this war is by legalizing the drugs.
This all started with Trump when he changed his role from a common businessman to a political person. His perception about cannabis has changed. When he was not a political man, he stated to a news channel – “Cannabis use is fine only for medical purpose because it may help to cure few diseases.” As a common man, he used to think that he was helpless about the war on drugs because his strong belief was that the enforcement was not working. But as soon as he became the president, he understood its usage and now he says he can only experience victory once cannabis is completely legalized.
According to an organization, which links investors with these cannabis-making companies, if at any time California says ‘Yes’ to legalize cannabis use for both recreational and medicinal cannabis, it is predictable to grow within four years from $7 billion to $22 billion. So, these four years are very crucial for cannabis legalization and to create awareness of cannabis drug.
Trump has openly and repetitively pledged to respect state cannabis laws, and everyone expects him to follow the rules based on those promises. It’s not only because of being the right thing to do, but also because these are supported by many voters across the country. A professor also said that it’s not really that difficult to get apart this because it is not yet that big.
Nevertheless, if Trump’s words are to be assumed as fact, then it’s very clear that he would be the main supporter of the legalization of cannabis in US history.
