Marijuana agriculture is exciting and a learning experience especially for novice individuals. It is important that if you want to produce more of these kinds.
Since marijuana agriculture is very popular and an in-demand business these days, expert agriculturists have come up with several methods on how to germinate them.
One type of marijuana strain is called the White Widow which is quite a potent medical alternative.
White Widow germination is pretty much the same as germinating a regular marijuana plant. One common method of doing this is the use of a paper towel.
Germinating using paper towel:
-
You need to have the right materials for the job: distilled water (not tap water because it has too many impurities), plate, paper towel, tweezers, and pill bottle.
-
Pour enough amount of distilled water in a container (glass or cup) and drop the marijuana seeds at the bottom. Let it stay for about 15 to 18 hours. After the soaking time is over, you can notice that the shell will crack and tiny roots will appear.
-
Place 2 sheets of paper towel on top of the plate. The paper towels should be moist enough, drain the excess water if there’s any. Place the marijuana seed over the moist paper towels and cover it with another moist sheet of paper towels.
-
On top of the paper towels, place an additional plate and make sure to store them in a warm and dark area.
-
After 6 days or more, depending on the type of strain, the seed should have developed tap roots. This should be the perfect time to move to grow medium.
-
If by any chance, the roots are not yet present, the seeds may not germinate but you can still plant it in your chosen medium.
-
Prepare the medium; make a standard size of rock wood cubes. The soil mixture should be consists of perlite and peat moss. Fill the flat or a plastic cup with soil and water until soaked enough.
-
Create a small hole in the soil about a ½ inch deep and slowly place the sprouted see with the white taproot facing down. Cover it with soil mixture. Each cup or flat should only have one seed.
-
In a span of 4 to 6 days, sprouts will slowly emerged from the medium and 10 to 14 days after, the leaves starts to grow. This is the part where you have to constantly water the plant.
Germinating marijuana seeds is simple, just carefully manage and follow the procedure to get better results.
