Canna Butter Prepared Using Marijuana Leaves

Many edible items are made out of Canna butter. This Canna butter is made out of Marijuana weeds. Many people use different recipes to prepare Canna butter. Instead of using buds and stem only the leaves are used for doing this butter. This part of the plant has less Cannabinoid oil. Bonding the oil of Marijuana and the oil of the butter is nothing but a pure chemical reaction which turns into Canna butter. The type of vessel, amount of butter, duration of heat treatment and intensity of the oil formed are different for different weeds. The stem is separated from the leaves and other debris is also removed. A mixture is prepared where only sugar ad waterleaves is left behind.

Preparation of canna butter stepwise

Running the mixture through a food processor makes the whole ting like a mixture. If the whole leaf is boiled the oil extracted is lesser. If the whole leaf is a minced and then boiled then more oil is extracted into the water. The leaves have to be matched up to give small surface areas which can give out more oil. If the leaves are dry, it is better to soak them in the water and then boil it in the same water.
The amount of leaves used to extract the oil should be one third the size of the pot. If the number of leaves is less then using a small pot will be better. For one stick of better it is better to add about four times the butter. If 4oz of butter is there then 16 oz of water has to be used to prepare the butter. The butter, water and marijuana match has to be put into a pot. Heat has to be introduced under the pot with continuous stirring. Once the contents come to boil then the heat can be simmered.

This mixture may have to be boiled for more than two hours continuously. The level of the water goes on reducing as the mixture boils. After boiling for some time, water can be added to get the correct consistency. For about three hours there is oil floating on the surface of the mixture. This oil can be filtered through a strainer and is stored in a container. The leaves can be squeezed to get more butter out of the mixture. After the butter has cooled it can be stored in a fridge. This Canna butter can be used for preparing cookies and cakes.
