Good light, water and soil are the main conditions for growing this plant. There are many countries that are legalizing the cultivation of Marijuana. If small number of plants is to be grown then it can be grown indoors. There is large scale production also which can be done outdoors. Low Intensity Lights for Seedlings

Good variety of seeds has to be collected from a proper source to get the best yield. The Marijuana seeds have to be put into the pot which is having damp soil. The mouth of the pot can be covered by the cello phone tape. The seeds germinate fast in this condition. The cuttings of Marijuana also can grow into new plants. The seedlings are small and they have to be provided with lower intensity lights. The seedlings cannot tolerate bright lights. Once the plant grows bigger then the light intensity has to be increased. The plants growing indoors cannot get sunlight and the only source of light is the artificial lights. These lights consume electricity and thus there may be an increase in the electric bills.

Harvesting Buds

The plant needs nearly ten weeks to start budding. In this stage the plant requires a lot of light. The light has to be placed a little distance away from the plant. Brightness or heat of the light should not damage the buds or leaves of the plants. The buds can be harvested when it is early or in the later stages. Some smokers prefer early buds and other bigger ones. The plant has to be allowed to grow large. As it grows large the number of buds increases and thus there is good yield. For indoor cultivation it is better to nip of the top to make the plant grow horizontally rather than vertically.
Use Feminized Seeds
It is always preferable to buy feminized seeds as male plants do not yield buds. The cultivators will pull out the plants which does not give buds. There may be male flowers also in the plant, but these flowers can be nipped off. The female flowers are not affected by the male flowers and thus the yield does not change. Good watering, light and fertilized soil gets good yield indoors too.
