The marijuana industry has become literally unstoppable in the recent times. It would not be hard to understand. Recently, Canada has become the initial industrialized nation in the world to legalize recreational marijuana. With the sales soaring high, several investors have positioned themselves in marijuana stocks.

Out of the 4.3 billion USD raised during the initial half of this year, several companies with marijuana stocks looking forward to trading publicly have raised approximately 3.29 billion USD. However, it would be pertinent to mention here that privately held Cannabis companies have been known to raise around 1.04 billion USD.

The private and public companies have been known to raise a combined total of nearly 3.18 billion USD in equity and approximately 1.15 billion in debt.
On the whole, cultivation and retail outfits have taken the charge and accumulated more than 2.5 billion USD. Among the several notable recent fundraising efforts made, it has been believed that marijuana would be raising around 119 million USD. It would not be wrong to suggest that the amount has been the largest in the cannabis industry.

It would be pertinent to mention here that legal recreation sale of Marijuana begins in October. Several marijuana companies in the Canadian region have consolidated and tried their best efforts for bringing in more shareholders.
