How can the authorities consider marijuana utilities and not make it legal?

Green Crack, Golden Goat and Triple Diesel, do they make sense to you? Maybe not but they are varieties of marijuana. Most of us know only of the original cannabis indica and sativa models. Yet we know the wonders that genetic modification can accomplish, potent fancy stuff with fancy names to cope up with the demands of the world’s greatest nation of America and their marijuana hooked youth. Not to deny that marijuana is globally in mighty demand, leading to intense smuggling and gang wars. The astronomical costs in countries like Japan make little sense when we consider that the weed grows wild in many parts of the world like in the Himalayas.

Most people are confused about marijuana and hemp

We heard of hemp since the school days as a substance that contributes in mighty ways to industry. What is hemp? It is basically a variety of the same marijuana family but lacks the THC kick that promotes the high. As the strongest natural fiber that exists, hemp has 50,000 different uses! Even if you can’t believe that in an instant, it speaks volumes about the truth even if the figure is not realistic. Denim and clothing, handbags and shoes are some of its creations. Canvas, rope, nets and carpets are products taught way back in school. Paper too for newsprint and cardboard, acrylics and fiberglass, soaps and shampoos!

What are marijuana based products?

Hemp is a cannabis variety too and grows wild across America. The authorities organize clean up campaigns just like the school authorities do in areas of the Himalayas where the potent marijuana grows. The plants are religiously destroyed during the flowering maturity season and we can only imagine how much is being consigned to flames or turned into fodder for farm animals. The products of hemp and marijuana would be quite similar then.

  • Brake clutch linings and caulking for industrial use
  • Cement, stucco and mortar
  • Animal bedding, mulch and compost
  • Salad oil, margarine, cooking oil, vitamins
  • Medicine and recreation too
  • Animal feed and protein rich fiber from seeds
  • Oil paints and varnish, printing ink, solvents, fuel, lubricants
  • Weed suppression with little pesticides needed

The solution would be global legalization for marijuana

In addition to the grand utility that cannabis has occupied for many generations, modern research indicates tremendous medical efficacy too as 23 American states prove. Why cannot world bodies like UN, SAARC and NATO to name a few come forward in its defense? Maybe vested interests like the criminal elements would wish to keep it illegal to rake in mighty profits but legitimate patients are losing out.
