How is the card obtained?

How was the law passed?

Strangely, some states took years over the question of medical marijuana. Some questions still remain like what happens if a patient required a higher dose of cannabis oil. That request cannot be accommodated in Georgia and patients would have to move to other states where it might be legal.
What about recreational marijuana?
It is obvious that laws can be misused. When medical marijuana is permitted, it is the green signal for backdoor dealing! In any case growing marijuana is legal for the oil extraction. It is a simple step to smoking or eating it in cookies and brownies illegally. Law enforcement authorities sometimes look the other way. It is clear that laws are opening up everywhere once the prejudice is gone. From villain to hero has been a long hard story for cannabis.
