Finally, the committee of the Israeli government has given a green signal for the country to carry medical marijuana across the city. Though the confirmation was given on Sunday by the ministerial committee, still the legalization process may take few more months to be done by parliament.
According to following predictions made by this process, it is estimated that it will make around 1 billion shekels (which is $267 million) per year for the country Israel. Once the bill passes through the parliament, it will enable the exportation of marijuana to reach out to the global demands for the plants from business owners and for the medical marijuana researchers.
In Israel, there are eight organizations that are growing the marijuana and dozens of requests from various business owners are still pending. These organizations strongly believe that once the marijuana business increases, they can see a growth and improvement in the medical industry.
By a special permission from the Government of Israel, marijuana is currently being used only for medical use. In the year 2016, Israeli Ministry of Health released a statement that more than 26,000 patients were given permission to use marijuana and this count is estimated to be doubled by the end of the year 2018.
Recently, the Government of Israel announced its plans for marijuana growth. They have planned to legalize marijuana for home usage and for small businesses. For this, the government has assigned 8 million shekels to almost dozens of research programmers who are studying marijuana for medical use.
During the last year, a drugmaker company of Israel called Teva grabbed a deal with a start-up organization to give pocket-sized inhaler to all the patients. This inhaler will carry a customized dose within it.
According to new sources, it was revealed that in the United States more than 28 states have approved marijuana for medical use and for the same it is estimated that the market is going to increase by $50 billion by next year. During June 2016, the government planned to go easy with the medical marijuana growth. Uri Ariel, Agriculture Minister said that he would soon approve the request for exporting marijuana abroad.
