Preparing Canna Oil Using Marijuana

There are both butter and oils used in the recipes. Marijuana butter or Canna butter and oils are made which can be used in a certain quantity for the recipes. Canna butter is made by adding butter to hot oil and the weed also which takes out the extract from the weed to the butter and thus Canna butter is made.

How to make canna oil?

  • Canna oil is also made in a similar way. There are many cooking oils available in the market. It is better to use the oil which we are personally using for cooking to make Canna oil. The effect of using this oil in edible items may give a slow physical dosage. Marijuana acts with the digestive system and so there are metabolism changes. This oil can be used for sautéing veggies, baking cakes and cookies, frying eggs and even for salad dressing.
  • The process of making Canna oil will take about eight hours. There is a little bit of expenditure as Marijuana cannot be purchased with poor money. Flower, leaf and trim of Marijuana is used to make Canna oil.
  • Edible oils which have more fat will be the best for getting out the THC from the weed. Many people use olive and coconut oils for doing Canna oil preparation. But these oils have problem when they are exposed to high heat. Canola oil will be the best for getting out Canna oil.
  • The utensils used for making Canna oil is a strainer, grinder, double boiler, cooker and sauce pan.
  • Cannabis plant parts are grinded first. Which part of the plant has to be used depends on the user entirely. There are chefs who use all the parts of the weed for preparing this oil. Any hard parts in the plant have to be removed or these parts end up getting into the oil.
  • Oil and Cannabis has to be measured. 2:1 is the best start for preparing this oil.
  • Put Marijuana into the oil and boil for hours to get the THC without giving more heat. A sauce pan can be used to making this oil. The contents have to be boiled for at least three hours by stirring constantly. A little water can also be added to avoid charring.
  • The oil can be stored now. The shelf life of this oil is about two months and if kept in a fridge then the life can be extended.
  • Use very small heat for preparing anything as more heat spoils the whole dish.
