Sudden repeal of marijuana legalization creates stir in Canada

Canadian government has legalized marijuana long ago. There are many shops that propagate the use of marijuana. Recently there is a habit of disdaining this practice as well. The government recently had issued a bill that the marijuana sellers who has a federal government issued license can sell marijuana. The others cannot. This has created an air of frenzy and stir in the people. They have protested to this decision of the government vehemently. There are many people in the Canadian province who are calling the habit of selling marijuana a mere waste of money and time, they are also claiming that the same stuff can erode the moral values of the society of Canada. The federal government has given an ear to these calls as there are some really influential people amongst the protestors. The sellers, Owners, clerks have thus decided to proceed to the court of law for the considerations.

The Toronto and Canada government has acquitted many people and charged them against the non legalized use of marijuana all of a sudden. This is an atrocity as demanded by the commons. A total of 90 people face charges including 79 alleging zoning violations, 186 for possession for the purpose of trafficking and 71 for possessing the proceeds of crime. The accused are charged with a maximum fine of $25,000 for individuals and $50,000 for corporations. Some of the owners and distributors are also hit with the serious criminal cases like drug trafficking charges and this has really aroused the sentiments of the common people. They are claiming that all of the sudden the government cannot change the laws as per their will. The people do not know even that the dispensaries that already have been opened with the prior legal notice will be allowed to stay open or not. Thus the decision of the federal government suddenly has imposed some ridiculous and unwanted questions on the future of marijuana. The people are bewildered at this atrocious attitude of the government.

Yet the fight is on. The sellers and the distributors of marijuana have moved to the court of law in demand and hope of justice. They claim that once when the government has legalized the same why are they repealing the law now bereft proper notice? They know that marijuana brings the currencies. People are making a way of living through it and now the federal bar shall put a serious prohibition to that fending the source of livelihood for many people. The prime minister said that he shall do the needful in time to come.
