Things Are Certainly looking Up With Cannabis For Everybody!

Can you guess what is happening in the third largest Colorado city of Aurora? The homeless people are fated to benefit from the huge incomes generated by recreational cannabis. The Colfax Community Network helps the families in distress by providing living space and food, clothing, etc. Of the $4.5 million generated by recreational cannabis, $1.5 million will fuel the 2016 expenses while another $1.5 million is dedicated to 2017 and 2018. Besides the $220,000 that Colorado provided the CCN for a two year plan, a van will be provided along with two workers.

America is going the Canadian way, maybe with cannabis

Cannabis may be America’s fastest growing industry, but Canada seems to be catching up fast. When Canada legalizes recreational cannabis, that is. The Canadian Prime Minister promises to make recreational cannabis legal in terms of federal law. If that really happens, all doors will open for the green gold in terms of investment, taxes and banking legality. What happens to the American dope business then? American dope laws exist only at the state level and federal law still considers cannabis illegal.

The Canadians then overtaking America at the cannabis game is a distinct possibility. Meanwhile, the federal Health Canada supervises a million square feet of licensed marijuana cultivation for medicinal reasons. Does medical marijuana in Canada really have a stock of seven tonnes, as is believed? As soon as the green signal for recreational cannabis is granted, the system would work at the national level and build mighty brands with a boost to the intellectual property.

The future of recreational cannabis laws

Canada and America would impact each other, of course, through a common border. If Canada legalizes recreational cannabis, American federal law could change too for the sake of maintaining parity. Professionalism could enter the cannabis business only if national laws allowed it. In fact, a global policy could emerge on cannabis if the two mighty powers accommodate large-scale marijuana production and consumption, something like tobacco perhaps. A civilized and rational policy like what Canada plans to implement would help everybody, both who are suffering and those who wish to indulge.

A mutual give and take
Liberal cannabis laws would permit an exchange of ideas and experiences across the border for mutual benefit. The business is booming to such proportions that profits would be adequate for both countries. Added together, medical and recreational cannabis business could reach $40 billion within a decade or even much sooner. That is worth thinking about.
