Though Controversies Remain, Marijuana Is Still the King
Everything has limits too just like the sky. The get rich quick marijuana industry in Colorado might remain closed to new business ventures for two years, according to the moratorium on the business under consideration. If approved, only the medical marijuana dispensaries dating back to October 2013 with no problems would be allowed to sell retail marijuana for two years further. Meanwhile, additional medical marijuana dispensaries would be disallowed for two years. The early bird in this case has found massive worms in a million dollar business that is bound to climb higher. Opponents are finding fault with the policy as is only natural. Considered from a reasonable point of view, it appears that the policy would create a responsible industry rather than one glorifying monetary profits. Yet opposition believes that Colorado is not giving the green signal for the growth of business by putting the full stop for two years.
Massachusetts would probably copy Colorado policy
State after state is falling victim to the marijuana magic and several countries around the world too like The Netherlands. Come 2016 and Massachusetts would decriminalize marijuana completely and just now the law allows medical purposes initially. The approach is similar to policies governing alcohol and seems to be realistic enough. It is fair enough that decisions are made by voters and 53% in the state favoured legalization in 2014 while 37% opposed the move. Probably the thinking has changed a great deal since then. According to some credible authorities, Massachusetts laws could turn in favour of marijuana in the near future. Considering the great deal that cannabis earned in the four states of Alaska and Oregon, Colorado and Washington where recreational cannabis is legal too, laws may be relaxed in a further eleven American states soon.
If you were in Alaska!
Though not legal yet, the Marijuana Control Board in Alaska voted to allow cannabis consumption within the premises of retail stores. If that becomes legal, it would make national history and Alaska would become the first state to allow such permissive use. The taint surrounding marijuana somehow made consumers search for dark corners if not within the periphery of their homes for that flight of fantasy. Maybe in the future, just like you take food and drinks at restaurants and bars at designated areas, the same could apply to the marijuana trick. Cannabis is still the champ yet and not a killer like tobacco and alcohol has been through the ages.
