Marijuana Rides The Media Waves Now And Forever

Everyone expected it and it is all going to happen in good time. Now that marijuana passes test after test, medicinal and recreational, the weed is certainly going places nationally and globally too. Having been part of the drug culture for ages in every part of the world originating in Asia, stardom is not new to marijuana.

Weed in Colorado and Texas

The title of the book indicates the great business potential, “Big Weed: An Entrepreneur’s High-Stakes Adventures In The Budding Legal Marijuana Business.” Now comes the news of a reality TV series called, “Green Man Cannabis.” Colorado of course is one of the leaders in the legal pot scenario that is bound to lead to some sensational media hypes and highs too. In Texas too a commercial presently doing the rounds points out that alcohol is far more harmful and a simpler approach to marijuana possession is justified. After all the cops have more urgent things to do than arrest dope suspects. Texas approved medicinal marijuana recently.

The new big business!

The cannabis wind blows strong all over the USA. The strange thing is that the Federal Government does not approve though states may have approved. That puts all the media guys in a tricky situation. With the researches clearing cannabis as a least harmful drug and a multitude of medical benefits, marijuana is here to stay. Business houses are investing millions and they know very well what promises the future holds.

The marijuana radio station!

And now a radio station dedicated to marijuana after a church was approved with the cannabis sacrament?! From law to book to radio station to future TV reality show? The Colorado FM radio station called “Smokin 94.1” is indeed in honor of marijuana people and came into existence only during the last week. The studio itself is a non-smoking place and the cannabis scent is not in the air though.

The Paskin Culture

The owner Marc Paskin is a San Diego millionaire who wants to revive the radio culture. The $1 million he invested he says is not to make weed popular and has nothing to with the stuff becoming legal there. Some fancy sports cars and the real estate Paskin prefer weed. Look at his colorful personality and weed patterned dress, the dreadlocks and sunglasses and you know the brainwaves he has experienced. Maybe cannabis will come to dominate the media one fine day in the near future.
